Mari has trained lash artists since 2021. This fall she was deciding where to put her online academy. Her texts to us that week:

Does Besmi take a cut of what I sell?
No. Academy is $69.99 a month or $599 a year, and every course, class and kit you sell is yours. The only fee is Stripe's card processing, nothing added. You can pass that fee to students if you like.
Is it only for lash educators?
No. It's built for anything with lessons, a hands-on day or both: lashes, brows, lamination, facials, waxing, makeup. Mari teaches lashes, so that's where we started.
Will my students see Besmi?
No. They see your academy's name, your colors, your fonts and your logo. Emails come from your academy, and certificates carry your name.
When is my money paid out?
Online lessons pay out right away. Class money comes after the class, and kit money once the kit is handed over or shipped. In your first 60 days, online money waits 7 days.
What's the refund rule?
Every academy offers at least this: a full refund if you cancel or move a class. A change of mind within 7 days if the class is more than 7 days away and she's watched or read under 20% of the lessons. After 7 days you may keep up to 30%.
Can I bring the students I already have?
Yes. Add them by hand, marked as paid outside Besmi, and they sign in to your academy with their email.
Does my certificate license someone?
No. Your certificate shows she finished your program, with a number anyone can check. Licensing is up to her state board.
When can I start?
Academy is opening to educators from the early access list first. Add your name and we'll reach out to set yours up.
